e2E, LLC is seeking an Accounting Consultant in the Kansas City area with remote and hybrid options. You will serve as a trusted advisor to client portfolios, handling monthly closes, tax work, and financial reporting while guiding team members.

The role emphasizes client service, process improvement, and leveraging technology to enhance profitability and compliance for small and medium businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in accounting and financial operations with consulting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and cloud-based platforms.
• Strong communication and project management skills; experience coaching teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients, advising on accounting, tax, and business matters.
• Perform monthly/quarterly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and AP/AR tasks.
• Deliver insights through financial reporting and trend analysis.
• Lead tax workpapers, multi-state tax filings, and year-end 1099 processing.
• Coach accounting specialists and monitor engagement timelines.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow modeling, and internal controls reviews.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and adopt new tech.
