Herzing University seeks a Curriculum Development SME for a part-time, remote role to guide the design of a Master of Applied Behavior Analysis program. The SME analyzes ABAI standards, drafts accreditation timelines, and helps shape the curriculum and communication materials.

This contract-based engagement partners with the AVP of Curriculum and Assessment and the Department Chair-Behavioral Health, with deliverables per SME contract and a maximum of 40 hours of work.

Formación

• Doctoral degree in behavior analysis or ABA.
• BCBA certification with BCBA-D designation, in good standing.
• Experience teaching, designing, and launching an accredited online ABA program.
• Experience with ABAI accreditation process as program director, faculty member, or reviewer.
• Demonstrated skills in curriculum sequencing, assessment, accreditation, and licensure alignment.
• Experience designing or overseeing supervised fieldwork or practicum experiences.

Responsabilidades

• Accreditation timeline. Propose an accreditation timeline with milestones, dependencies, and required hiring needs (including program director and faculty qualifications). The timeline addresses ABAI eligibility and application requirements.
• Standards crosswalk. Review the proposed curriculum and map it to ABAI Accreditation Board standards, with gap analysis and revisions.
• Certification and licensure alignment. Document how curriculum, fieldwork plan, and outcomes align to BACB requirements and state licensure.
• Program communication. Draft internal program materials and review external materials.
• Meetings. Attend meetings with the AVP of Curriculum and Assessment and the Department Chair-Behavioral Health.
• Deliverables. Submit deliverables per SME contract and program structure.
• Confidentiality and AI use. Protect confidential info; use AI tools as permitted by policy.
• Contract. Adhere to SME contract; additional duties may be assigned.
