Living Forward ABA in Indiana is seeking a part-time Billing Coordinator to handle full authorization and claim processes for ABA therapy from a remote setup. Responsibilities include benefit verification, pre-authorizations, claims submission, denials and appeals, and coordination with the clinical team.

You will verify Medicaid eligibility monthly, assist with patient payments, and prepare reports for owners, while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and ensuring accurate reconciliations with

Qualifications

• Comfortable with computers and general office tasks, with strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience or familiarity with billing software is preferred.
• Must be located in Indiana and able to work remotely within the state.

Responsabilités

• Assist with full authorization and claim processes for ABA therapy, including verification, pre-authorization, submissions, denials and appeals.
• Coordinate benefits checks with clinical director and owners as needed.
• Assist with pre-authorizations for therapy codes, gather information, submit, and follow up.
• Check Medicaid eligibility and benefits verification monthly.
• Coordinate and assist with patient payment processes and follow-up on authorizations.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and report issues to Clinical Director and owners.
• Prepare reports for owners and reconcile issues with online platform and clearinghouse.
• Follow up on claims and denials as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
