• Familiar with ABA service delivery.
• Experience with insurance authorizations, referrals, intake coordination, or related admin functions.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Work independently while collaborating with remote and clinic teams.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service to staff and insurance representatives.
• Run and utilize computer reports regularly.
• Protect patient confidentiality and data privacy.
• Provide status updates to management on authorization progress for patients needing treatment authorization.
• Ensure pre-authorizations are obtained and tracked for patients with insurance requirements.
• Implement and promote agency policies and procedures; document authorization requests clearly.
• Participate in orientation and education of Authorization staff.
