Job summary

Stellar Virtual seeks a highly motivated and certified Secondary Science Teacher to join our remote team, delivering engaging live science lessons to grades 6–12 through our virtual platform across multiple state programs. The role emphasizes curriculum implementation, assessment, and collaboration to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Science Education, or related field.
• Valid teaching certification/license for grades 6-12 in at least one program state (IA, TN, or MO).
• Willingness to obtain/maintain certification in remaining assigned states.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live virtual science lessons for grades 6-12 aligned with state standards and program requirements.
• Utilize online teaching methods and technologies to accommodate varied learning styles.
• Develop asynchronous activities, projects, and discussions.
• Provide timely feedback on student work to support growth.
• Collaborate with curriculum specialists and other teachers to enhance science instruction.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Communicate with students and parents about progress and concerns.
