Job summary

Stellar Virtual is seeking a Secondary Teacher, Social Studies (6-8) to deliver engaging, standards-aligned virtual instruction for middle school students. The role focuses on TEKS-aligned content, online engagement, and data-driven instruction to drive academic growth and critical thinking.

The ideal candidate will design interactive lessons, differentiate for diverse learners, and maintain a positive virtual classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Social Studies, or related field required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with Social Studies (6-8) endorsement required.
• Experience delivering remote/virtual instruction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt social studies curriculum aligned to TEKS for grades 6–8.
• Deliver engaging live virtual lessons using diverse instructional strategies.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive virtual classroom environment and monitor student engagement.
• Implement effective virtual classroom management to support learning outcomes.
• Design, administer, and evaluate formative and summative assessments.
