Edmentum is seeking a Virtual Science Teacher to deliver live, on-camera instruction in a remote-first environment. You will connect with students in real time, personalize learning, and create an engaging online classroom where students feel seen and motivated to succeed.

Requires a Bachelor's in Education or related field and a valid state Science teaching license (6-12). Experience with online learning platforms and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; valid state teaching license in Science 6-12.
• Experience teaching virtually or in-person; comfortable with live online classrooms.
• Proficient with online learning platforms and standard productivity software.
• Data-informed educator who uses performance data to adapt instruction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera instruction five or more hours per day.
• Personalize instruction using student performance data.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Build relationships with students and families through proactive communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent support.
