Job summary

Edmentum, a Remote First educator-focused company, seeks a Virtual Science Teacher to bring the classroom to life online with live, on-camera instruction five hours per day.

You’ll personalize learning using data, provide timely feedback, and collaborate with schools and Edmentum teams. A Bachelor’s in Education and an active K-12 Science license are required. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required.
• Active state teaching license in Science (Biology, Chemistry, General Science) grades 6-12.
• Experience teaching virtually or in-person in a live online classroom.
• Comfortable on-camera and able to teach five or more hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five or more hours per day.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction and identify learning gaps.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records.
• Build relationships with students and families through professional communication.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure high-quality support.
