Job summary

LCS Financial Services Corporation is seeking experienced collections professionals to join our nationwide remote team. This 100% remote role emphasizes building rapport, negotiating settlements, and achieving results while you work from home.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, set up payment plans, and ensure compliance with debt collection laws. A strong drive, reliability, and ability to work independently are essential for success in this performance‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to manage collection accounts and negotiate successful payment arrangements.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and relevant assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritizing collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Consistently working toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Delivering professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
