Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced 3D Mechanical Designer to join our Data Center Mission Critical Group. You will create and refine detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, conduct site walkdowns, and collaborate closely with engineers.

You will work on diverse projects, adhere to safety standards, and mentor junior team members in a dynamic, quality-focused environment. The role supports remote work within the US for senior candidates and offers opportunities to lead BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field with a minimum of 1 year of design engineering experience
• Associates Degree in related field with minimum 6 years of design engineering experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design engineering

Responsibilities

• Design & Drafting: Create and/or modify detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, including layout and detail drawings, piping isometrics and P&ID.
• Engineering Collaboration: Size and design piping, pumps, equipment for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and controls; collaborate with engineers and other designers.
• 3D Modeling & BIM: Proficient in 3D space and BIM; perform clash detection using NAVISWORKS or REVIT; create/modify REVIT families.
• Field Work: Perform client site walkdowns and generate walkdown reports.
• Quality & Standards: Self-check drawings and data; follow AutoCAD standards; conduct peer checks.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Review work of other designers/drafters and mentor team; meet time goals.
• Communication & Organization: Communicate with engineers and designers; follow procedures and safety policies
