Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a senior 3D Mechanical Designer for its Data Center Mission Critical Group. You will create and refine detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT, perform site walkdowns, and closely collaborate with engineers to size piping, pumps, HVAC components, and supports.

You will mentor junior designers, uphold safety standards, and participate in BIM workflows with Navisworks. This role can be based in any EnerCON office or remote within the US for Sr Level Candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with design engineering experience or 10+ years experience.
• Proficient with 2D/3D design software: AutoCAD and Revit; NAVISWORKS, Inventor, Creo, Bluebeam recommended.
• Good written and verbal communication; travel 10–15% as needed.
• Familiar with codes, standards, and design execution in relevant disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Create/modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD and REVIT; prepare layouts and piping isometrics.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers on piping, pumps, HVAC, and controls; assist with design concepts.
• Perform BIM tasks and 3D modeling; conduct clash detection with NAVISWORKS/REVIT.
• Conduct field walkdowns and generate walkdown reports; mentor junior designers.
• Ensure quality and safety standards; perform peer checks and adhere to national AutoCAD standards.
• Lead or mentor peers as needed; meet time goals for the discipline.
• Communicate effectively with engineers and designers; follow procedures and safety policies.
