Deluxe is seeking a Remittance Processing Specialist I to perform basic to intermediate remittance processing tasks under supervision. You will operate mail extraction equipment, batch transactions, and ensure accuracy according to client instructions.

The role requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently or with others in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Able to read and make basic decisions.
• Detail-oriented and quality conscious.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule and able to work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operator/Mailroom Associate – operates mail extraction equipment to group work into processible batches.
• Batching – open envelopes, extract transactions, batch checks, invoices, and coupons per client instructions.
• Dispatch Operator – perform a quality review on outgoing items and prepare packages for remittance customers.
• Process work accurately and maintain performance per client standards.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs to job-related equipment.
• Basic-level transaction sorting and decision-making.
