Job summary

PCI Environmental, LLC is seeking a Remediation Project Manager to support Federal, DoD and private sector customers remotely. You will manage scope, schedule and budget for large investigation and remediation projects under CERCLA and RCRA, and build strong client relationships with regulatory liaison.

Responsibilities include technical report writing, health and safety stewardship, cost estimating and proposal development, coordinating with staff and subcontractors, and ensuring quality

Qualifications

  • Travel may be required up to 20%
  • Professional registration recommended: PE, PG and/or PMP
  • 7–15 years in environmental restoration under CERCLA/RCRA
  • Experience in risk assessments for DoD projects a plus
  • Ability to manage complex projects with many moving parts and multiple partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Geology/Environmental Science or related field required
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER training with 8-hour annual refreshers preferred
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
  • Other certifications/licenses a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good problem solving and independent work ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access
  • Background check and education verification may be required

Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships and handle client/regulatory correspondence
  • Prepare and review technical reports
  • Analyze and apply solutions to complex issues in environmental remediation
  • Maintain health and safety stewardship including field visits
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals
  • Coordinate work with PCI staff and subcontractors
  • Ensure quality control of tasks and deliverables
  • Prepare RI, QAPPs, PMPs, and Remedial Action reports

  • Managing scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation/remediation projects under CERCLA and RCRA regulations
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Client and regulatory correspondence
  • Technical report writing and review
  • Analyzes and applies solutions to atypical and/or semi-complex and challenging issues within area of expertise
  • Health and safety stewardship, including local field visits
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals
  • Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
  • Coordinating work schedules with PCI staff and subcontractors
  • Responsible for quality control of tasks
  • Prepare reports including but not limited to UFP-QAPPs, PMPs, QCPs, AAP/SSHPs, Remedial Investigation Reports, Long Term Monitoring Reports and Remedial Action Operation Reports
Qualifications
  • Travel may be required up to 20%
  • Ideal candidate will possess a professional registration of a PE, PG and/or a PMP
  • 7 - 15 years of experience preferably in environmental restoration field under CERCLA and RCRA
  • Experience in managing human health and/or ecological risk assessments for Department of Defense projects is a plus
  • Ability to manage a project with many moving parts, tight deadlines, and multiple technical teaming partners and subcontractors.
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science or related field
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER trained with updated 8-hr annual refreshers preferred.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • Other certifications/licenses are a plus.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good problem solving skills and able to work well independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
  • May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements
Physical Requirements

If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
