Location: Fort Collins, CO

The role is Environmental Technician supporting remedial operations, maintenance, and monitoring projects across Colorado, New Mexico, Montana, and other locations. The candidate should ideally have experience in general construction and environmental remediation/sampling. Hands‑on mechanical experience and interests are preferred (e.g., construction, home repair, auto maintenance).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine fieldwork such as environmental multi‑media sampling, operations, maintenance, and equipment inspections, working under close supervision.
• Assist project staff with routine support tasks.
• Conduct operations and maintenance of groundwater remediation systems, including extraction of impacted groundwater, performing system maintenance, collecting groundwater samples to monitor performance, and compiling field data.
• Set up and operate equipment, inspect equipment and installations for compliance with specifications, and maintain proper project documentation.
• Obtain and maintain OSHA 40‑hour hazardous site worker training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within 30 days of hire.
• Mechanical skills and hands‑on experience.
• Experience with soil, groundwater, and waste media sampling.
• Experience with health and safety programs and effective communication skills.
• OSHA 40‑hour training.

Compensation

USD 20 - USD 25 per hour.
