Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is hiring for a role focused on prepping and assembling S50/60-cylinder heads. You will use various hand and air tools, inspect parts visually, and install plugs as part of the remanufacturing process.

The position emphasizes quality standards, adherence to work instructions, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to work across rotations in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Must maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Cross train on other jobs as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and assembly of S50/60-cylinder heads.
• Perform visual inspection to meet established quality standards.
• Install freeze plugs, pipe plugs, and other components.
• Operate tools and equipment per workstation instructions.
• Contribute to safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and housekeeping improvements.
