Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Byesville, OH is seeking an Engine Block Inspector to visually inspect blocks, remove caps, and verify repairs within our remanufacturing process. You will operate hoists, wash tanks, and inspection cameras while following standard work procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation and use of power/tools.
• Able to stand on concrete and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain a clean work area and meet quality standards.
• Cross-train on other jobs as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties.
• Cleaning & inspection of engine blocks.
• Operate hoist, air tools, torque wrenches, gauges, wash tank, and inspection camera.
• Identify components by learning IDs.
• Read Work Station Instructions.
• Participate in safety, quality, productivity improvements.
• Install and assemble components for heavy-duty trucks.
• Access company data via computer systems and manage BOMs.
