Job summary

The position requires a STEM degree and security clearance eligibility, with experience in NX FEMAP/NASTRAN, ABAQUS, or HYPERMESH. A 9/80 schedule applies, with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with mechanical structural focus; 2+ years experience or Master’s degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Experience with structural analysis tasks: analysis, design, testing of structures

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic structure analysis.
• Review requirements for materials, structure systems & subsystems.
• Select appropriate technical information and data from applicable products.
• Determine technical principles, define design path, and compute engineering characteristics for space applications.
• Release results as technical documents after review by seniors.
• Develop innovative solutions and elaboration of design concepts.
• Evaluate completed designs with supervisor and other groups; modify as needed.
