Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer – Level 3 or 4 in the Space Sector, based on-site in the Virginia area. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with emphasis in Mechanical/Structural Analysis.
• 5+ years of experience for Level 3 or 8+ years for Level 4; advanced degrees offset requirements.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and dynamic structure analysis for spacecraft systems.
• Review materials and structure subsystem requirements.
• Identify design paths and compute engineering characteristics to meet specs.
• Release results as technical documents after senior review.
• Develop innovative design concepts and verify against requirements.
