Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan and implement professional nursing care in a 4 South Stroke Medical-Surgical Telemetry Neuro Unit. The role includes assuming charge nurse responsibilities and providing patient-centered care in a level three trauma system.

New graduates welcomed. Requires an Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and NC RN licensure or Compact state licensure; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and organize appropriate care.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Act as charge nurse as assigned.
• Maintain accurate and relevant records of patient care.
• Establish collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with health system staff.
