Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 South Medical Telemetry unit in Fayetteville, NC. You will plan and deliver professional nursing care in alignment with hospital policies and assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

The unit is a 36-bed all-adult area with a 1:5 patient ratio, and the care team includes RNs, educators, nursing assistants, and support staff. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and identify care needs.
• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Serve as charge nurse as assigned and maintain patient records.
