Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 4 South Medical/Telemetry unit in Fayetteville, NC. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, coordinate patient plans, and work as a charge nurse when needed.

The role requires NC RN licensure or a compact state license, with preference for applicants holding a BSN. New graduates welcomed. 4 South unit handles stroke, telemetry, and neuro care in a 35-bed setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as an RN or compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Establishes collaborative interdisciplinary relationships with hospital staff and medical staff.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Monitors quality of care using outcome-oriented indicators.
• Participates in cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Adjusts care based on age-specific needs of patients.
