Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to plan and implement professional nursing care for patients in the 4 South Stroke Medical-Surgical Telemetry Neuro Unit, with charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

You will assess needs, organize care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians, PAs, and the health system staff, while maintaining safety and compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and identify care requirements.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Maintain accurate patient care records.
• Demonstrate charge nurse responsibilities when assigned.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate with Physicians, PAs, NPs and Health System staff.
