Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for 8 South, a 34-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit in Fayetteville, NC. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including medication administration and charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

New graduate nurses are accepted; NC RN licensure (or Compact) is required, with BLS certification. The team emphasizes safe, quality care and collaborative interdisciplinary work across the health system.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current North Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification required.
• New Graduate Nurses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient and identify care needs.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Establish collaborative relationships with health system staff.
