Job summary

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of hourly production employees.
• Mentor, coach and manage performance of team members.
• Manage processing or packaging schedules to maximize output and minimize costs; participate in problem solving.
• Ensure products meet quality and GMP requirements.
• Improve asset utilization by reducing downtime and waste; coordinate activities with maintenance, engineering and QA.
• Lead integrated work groups to achieve continuous improvement goals.
• Provide a safe working environment for employees.
