Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Saint Joseph, MO, seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate first-line management across production planning, output, maintenance, and quality. This role directs hourly staff, ensures GMP compliance, and drives safety and continuous improvement in a high-volume wet dog and cat food plant.

The position requires availability for all shifts, including overnights, weekends and holidays, with a competitive salary and incentives plus a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of hourly production employees.
• Mentor, coach and manage performance to develop the workforce.
• Schedule production and coordinate with maintenance, engineering and QA to meet goals.
• Ensure GMP compliance and a safe, clean working environment.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce downtime and waste.
