Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to direct production activities and lead the production team to meet business and customer requirements. You will be responsible for full plant operations in the absence of the Plant Manager, optimizing capacity, manpower, and outside resources within the budget to improve profitability.

Direct oversight includes 8 supervisors and ~170 employees, coaching on crewing and budgeting, and mentoring Business Unit Leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or related field preferred.
• Five to seven years of progressive operational managerial experience in food/beverage industry.
• Experience with TPM or continuous improvement methods.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct production planning and scheduling to minimize losses and optimize profitability.
• Lead a team of 8 supervisors and ~170 employees.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure on-time production and shipping.
• Mentor and develop management staff.
• Drive safety and environmental compliance.
