WIN Waste Innovations seeks a Relief Operator to monitor boilers, turbine, and auxiliary plant equipment, ensuring safe and continuous plant operation. You will read meters, adjust controls, and coordinate the shift with maintenance and safety in mind.

The role requires power plant experience, a 2nd Class Engineers license, and a focus on safety, reliability, and efficient performance across the facility.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; power plant experience preferred.
• Two years in power plant environment or 5 years related experience.
• Mechanical tasks include replacement of shear pins, valve repacking, and inspections.
• Ability to pursue ASME QRO Provisional license.

Mansioni

• Monitor and control boilers, turbine, and auxiliary plant equipment to maintain safe, efficient operation.
• Read meters and gauges; record data for performance and emissions analysis.
• Adjust controls and switch to backup systems as needed; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate and direct subordinates; supervise shift operations.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to the Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine lubrication and maintenance.
