Job summary

Dimensions is seeking Relief Support Workers in Norfolk to provide flexible support across four homes in Aylsham, Reedham and Hellesdon. You will assist adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, adapting daily tasks to their goals and preferences.

Responsibilities include personal care, community access, budgeting and daily living support, while building meaningful relationships with residents. Training will be provided, with shifts including early/late, long days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence, choice and control in daily life.
• Work across homes and provide cover when needed.

We are looking for Relief Support Workers to provide flexible support across four supported living homes in Aylsham, Reedham and Hellesdon. You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live great lives. Every day is different and could include:

• Supporting people with personal care, medication and daily living tasks
• Helping people access their local community, attend appointments and enjoy hobbies and interests.
• Supporting with shopping, cooking, household tasks and managing finances.
• Building communication and meaningful relationships with people who do not use words to communicate.
• Encouraging independence, choice and control in all aspects of daily life.
• Working across a variety of homes, supporting established teams when additional cover is needed.

The people we support enjoy a wide range of interests including swimming, shopping, arts and crafts, café visits, holidays, walks, bowling and spending time with family and friends.

Relief colleagues provide flexible cover across: early shifts, late shifts, long days, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays

About you

• Be confident supporting people with varying needs, including personal care.

• Have basic IT skills for record keeping and training.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for people with the right values, enthusiasm and commitment to making a difference.
