Job summary

Cretex Companies, Inc. is seeking a Machine Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and safe operation of all production machinery. You will lead the maintenance team, develop preventive/predictive programs, and minimize downtime while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in industrial maintenance and 2+ years in supervision, with strong CMMS and KPI reporting skills. Expect occasional night/weekend coverage and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of advanced industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory or management experience.
• Strong CMMS administration, work-order management, and KPI reporting.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays for emergencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise machine maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Lead TPM program implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure PM activities are scheduled, assigned, completed on time, and documented.
• Monitor backlog and escalate resource or scheduling constraints.
• Review PM tasks and frequencies to eliminate non-value work.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment issues.
• Maintain CMMS work-order standards and accurate data.
• Maintain equipment hierarchies, asset info, PM schedules, and spare parts records in CMMS.
• Use CMMS and performance data to track KPIs and plan reliability improvements.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and inventory.
• Coordinate equipment installation, modification, and commissioning.
• Ensure OSHA/safety compliance and procedures.
• Develop maintenance procedures and checklists.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety.
• Train and develop maintenance personnel.
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate vendors and service providers.
