Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a prestigious client in the building automation and industrial technology sector. The role focuses on mechanical preventive maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient in a manufacturing setting.

You will inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment, troubleshoot productivity issues, and contribute to preventive maintenance plans. A minimum of 5 years' experience and relevant trade certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Trade certificate or technical degree or equivalent.
• Mechanical qualifications or training certificates preferred.
• Field of Study: Mechanical Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical preventive maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operations.
• Inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment using mechanical tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot concerns to maximize productivity.
• Report maintenance problems and contribute to preventive maintenance plans.
• Perform preventive/proactive inspections and document findings.

Education

Trade certificate, technical degree or equivalent

Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical Maintenance

Mechanical Qualifications/ Certificates of training (preferred)

• Perform mechanical preventive maintenance work to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient operations.
• Inspect, repairs, and reassembles equipment using an array of mechanical tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot potential concerns required to achieve and maintain maximum productivity.
• Report maintenance problems to the appropriate supervisor and participate in the development of preventative maintenance plans.
• Perform preventive/proactive inspections and document findings as directed by the reliability supervisor.
