Job summary
Amentum is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support our team in a Hillsboro manufacturing facility. The role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance work to improve productivity and quality, including scheduling labor, parts, permits, tools, and documentation to ensure safe, efficient execution.
Responsibilities include developing job plans, reviewing work orders, performing root-cause analysis, and advancing preventive and predictive maintenance programs while maintaining CMMS data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of Facility Planning experience or equivalent.
- Experience with CMMS like Maximo or SAP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Upholds safety, health, and environmental procedures; communicates and supports OSHA/EPA rules.
- Acts as liaison between maintenance and operation planning.
- Maximizes resources by identifying parts, tools, external services and documentation.
- Receives and reviews planned work orders for proper completion.
- Develops full scope of work including cost and time for maintenance activities.
- Performs root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
- Maintains CMMS and tracks work orders, backlog, and spare parts.
