Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Planner Scheduler (MPS) to support a team of multi-skilled technicians in a manufacturing facility. The MPS will plan and coordinate labor, parts, tools, and documentation to optimize maintenance work, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role partners with operations and maintenance management to develop scheduled activities, pre-evaluate replacement parts, and build backup plans to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent 4+ years in industrial maintenance).
• Associates degree plus 4 years of related experience or 8 years of experience with no degree.

Responsibilities

• Upholds safety, health, and environmental procedures; supports OSHA, EPA, and site rules.
• Acts as liaison between maintenance and operations planning.
• Maximizes resources by identifying parts, tools, and services for planning/scheduling.
