Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Rincon, GA is seeking a Plant Maintenance and Reliability Manager to lead day-to-day maintenance and asset management for our distillation refinery, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. You will manage the maintenance budget and evolve the SAP PM program in alignment with the global PMO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline preferred but not required.
• Preference for experience working in a PSM environment.
• Hands-on results oriented with ability to work effectively in a team.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Ability to operate and understand computer-controlled process equipment and programs used in process control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, knowledge of production documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for site asset care to ensure high reliability at lowest cost using Reliability Centered Maintenance principles.
• Provide daily leadership to maintenance technicians and site instrumentation technicians; translate weekly plans into maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies; establish safety culture and health prevention during maintenance activities; maintain plant cleanliness.
• Implement reliability tools including vibration, thermography, oil analysis, and root-cause analysis; manage lubrication program and laser alignment.
• Investigate and implement predictive maintenance technologies; advise on new equipment and instrumentation selections to Process Engineering.
• Manage outside contractors during shutdowns; oversee MRO inventories; develop and implement capital projects; control OPEX and CAPEX budgets; share best practices across the Ingredient network.
