Job summary

dsm-firmenich is seeking a Plant Maintenance and Reliability Manager in Rincon, GA to lead day-to-day maintenance and asset management for a distillation refinery. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations while aligning the maintenance budget with KPIs and evolving SAP PM programs.

You will guide maintenance technicians, manage shutdowns with external contractors, and drive predictive maintenance initiatives with strong leadership and collaboration across the Ingredient network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred, but not required.
• Preference for experience in a PSM environment.
• Hands‑on results oriented with the ability to work in a team.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Ability to operate and understand process control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site asset care to achieve high reliability at lowest cost using Reliability Centered Maintenance.
• Provide daily leadership to maintenance and instrumentation technicians; translate weekly work plans into maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE policies and foster a safety culture.
• Implement reliability tools (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, root cause analysis) and lubrication programs.
• Investigate predictive maintenance technologies and advise on new equipment/instrumentation.
• Manage outside contractors during shutdowns; oversee MRO inventories; drive CAPEX/OPEX budgets; share best practices across the network.
