Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Reliability Engineering Lead for the Kansas City facility to improve asset reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance through data analysis and reliability methodologies. Travel up to 40% and collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, and Plant Leadership are essential.

You will drive RCFA investigations, PM optimization, and implement reliability work processes to reduce failures and lifecycle costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
5–10 years in maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, or reliability.
Experience with SAP PM or CMMS.
Experience leading reliability improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute reliability improvement plans for critical assets.
Identify and eliminate chronic equipment failures.
Analyze reliability data to improve MTBF.
Lead RCFA investigations and structured problem solving.
Evaluate and optimize PM programs; shift to condition-based maintenance where appropriate.
Support SAP/CMMS data quality and maintenance planning.
Coach and lead cross-functional teams on reliability best practices.
