Job summary

Ingredion is seeking a Reliability Engineer at our Kansas City, MO site. You will serve as the technical authority for asset reliability, driving preventive and predictive maintenance, improving uptime, and supporting safe, reliable plant operations.

You will lead reliability initiatives, collaborate with maintenance and operations, and utilize SAP CMMS to manage data and performance metrics. Bachelor's in Engineering required; relocation within the country possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience in reliability engineering and asset management.
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS (prefer SAP) and data-driven decisions.
• Experience leading RCA, FMEA, and bad actor programs in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Serve as the site’s reliability subject-matter expert, providing guidance to maintenance planners and technicians.
• Lead reliability improvement initiatives, including RCA, FMEA, and bad actor programs to eliminate chronic issues.
• Use SAP to manage maintenance data, equipment files, BOMs, and reliability metrics.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and storeroom teams to prioritize defects and ensure timely corrective actions.
