Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Maintenance Reliability Engineer to drive the reliability and performance of critical equipment in a manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience defining maintenance plans, strategies, spare parts needs, and root cause analyses.
• Experience with predictive tools such as thermography, ultrasonics, vibration, oil analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Drive a zero incident culture and participate in investigations to determine root cause and preventive actions.
• Communicate effectively with environmental, health, safety, accounting, people, quality, and equipment issues.
• Lead Electromechanics by developing relationships and promoting participation in decisions.
• Conduct routine audits of EHS adherence and work order accuracy.
• Develop weekly schedules with Maintenance Planner for 100% Electromechanic availability.
• Train Electromechanics to ensure deep specialty knowledge and regulatory compliance.
• Establish annual performance objectives for direct reports; oversee escalation to minimize response times.
• Enter time in payroll system and manage overtime, vacations, and shift relief.
• Assist in staffing maintenance personnel and coordinate with Predictive assets to prevent failures.
• Support TPM by optimizing PMs and inspecting AM opportunities on critical equipment.
• Engineer solutions to repetitive failures using structured problem-solving methods (BDA, RCA, A3, 8D).
• Support crafts after hours on issues beyond their skill; update skills matrix.
