Job summary

MKS Inc. invites you to join Vacuum Product Group as a Reliability Engineering Intern/Co-op in Andover, MA. You will partner with reliability and design engineers to perform product reliability testing and report findings to the team.

This six‑month program begins January 2027 and reports to the director of reliability engineering. You will gain hands‑on experience in test methods, fixture design, and possibly software coding for test automation, while building a foundation in reliability

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program for engineering, software, or related field.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Attention to detail and proactive work style.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vacuum product reliability and product testing.
• Communicate results and write test reports.
• Assist in test fixture design and build.
• Assist in software coding for test automation and data collection.
• Travel up to 1%.
