Job summary
MKS Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineering Intern/Co-op in the Vacuum Product Group in Massachusetts.
The 6-month program starts January 2027 and provides hands-on experience partnering with reliability and design teams to perform product testing and reliability assessments. You will report to the director of reliability engineering, contribute to test planning and results documentation, and may assist with test fixture design and small software tasks for test automation and data collection.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in engineering, software or related field.
- Demonstrated initiative, resiliency, flexibility, time-management, and organization skills.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- US Person required.
Responsibilities
- Perform vacuum product reliability and product testing.
- Communicate test results and write the reports.
- Potentially involved in test fixture design and build.
- Potentially involved in software coding for test automation and data collection.
- Travel up to 1%.
