Job summary

Saint-Gobain, parent company of CertainTeed, seeks a Reliability Engineer to lead the Maintenance Department in improving plant uptime and asset utilization. You will implement reliability-centered maintenance programs and manage preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance across the facility.

You will collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop budgets, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety policies while mentoring frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance function in an industrial environment with demonstrated expertise in electrical reliability.
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS: SAP, MP2, or 7 I, PMC.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with 5S, TPM, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and lean manufacturing.
• Strong people development, teaming and collaborative decision making skills.
• Displays confidence to face leadership challenges and uses power effectively.
• Excellent communication of goals and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Champion reliability centered maintenance activities using world class manufacturing techniques.
• Capture and report KPIs for equipment reliability and planning/scheduling processes.
• Inspect machines and establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Review and schedule maintenance work orders; coordinate manpower resources.
• Analyze KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop cost and time estimates for maintenance work and drive cost improvements.
• Maintain CMMS accuracy and improve maintenance history records.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Predictive Maintenance (Vibration, Infrared, Oil analysis).
• Understand electrical power distribution, motors, breakers, and transformers.
• Uphold safety programs and policies.
