Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Reliability Engineer to strengthen the site's reliability program, drive maintenance strategies, and improve asset performance across manufacturing and utilities. The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and EHS to reduce downtime and optimize costs while complying with PWS, cGMP, FDA, and regulatory standards.

The position leads reliability initiatives, develops maintenance plans, and supports MOC activities, equipment BOMs, and spare parts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of reliability/maintenance engineering or asset management experience in manufacturing.
Experience in FDA-regulated pharmaceutical, food, infant formula, consumer healthcare or GMP environments preferred.
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and condition monitoring.
Experience with asset management systems, CMMS, and SAP PM preferred.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
Proficiency with SAP PM, MS Office, and manufacturing systems.
Strong communication, coaching, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Promote a proactive safety culture and support site safety initiatives.
Serve as the site's technical expert in reliability engineering and asset performance improvement.
Lead and maintain equipment criticality assessments.
Perform bad actor analysis and identify chronic equipment failures.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies based on asset criticality and reliability principles.
Own and drive Defect Elimination Programs.
Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, failure modes, and improvement opportunities.
Develop engineering solutions to eliminate repetitive failures and operational losses related to quality, capacity, reliability, safety, and cost.
Support reliability reviews for new equipment installations, modifications, and capital projects.
Monitor equipment health and develop proactive maintenance recommendations.
