Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. in Newton, KS is seeking a Reliability Engineer III to lead the site's reliability program, drive improvements in machine uptime, and optimize maintenance strategies across all operations.

You will guide cross-functional teams, develop capital requests, and mentor staff while ensuring safe, cost-effective asset performance. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years in industrial manufacturing with strong expertise in PdM, RCMA, FMECA, and complex equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
5+ years manufacturing experience.
5+ years maintenance and reliability improvement.
Willingness to pursue Level 1 certifications in Thermography, Vibration Analysis, and Machinery Lubrication within two years.

Responsibilities

Lead the site Reliability program and drive improvements in machine uptime and OEE.
Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies and PM optimization.
Perform FMEA and root-cause analyses on failures to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with planners/schedulers on internal/external labor for projects and maintenance.
Establish preventive maintenance requirements and monitor KPI trends.
Provide leadership in TPM and reliability initiatives across the facility.
