Job summary

American Sugar Refining, Inc. in Baltimore, MD seeks a Reliability Engineer to enhance equipment reliability, safety and efficiency within the Maintenance & Engineering team.

You will lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs, plan maintenance projects, and optimize SAP Plant Maintenance, while collaborating across engineering, maintenance and safety groups. The role requires at least 3 years in an industrial setting and a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering or 10+ years maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance/engineering environment.
• Experience with belt conveyors, cranes, boilers, turbines and process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability of refinery and powerhouse equipment through preventive maintenance activities.
• Oversee the predictive maintenance program.
• Plan and direct maintenance projects from concept through construction.
• Lead Preventative Checklist program to minimize downtime and manage budget.
• Verify availability of parts, materials and tools before scheduling; optimize SAP PM.
• Work with engineering, maintenance and HSE personnel to maintain safety and reliability.
