Job summary

The Packaging Reliability Manager at American Sugar Refining, Inc. in Baltimore, MD will lead a team of reliability engineers, maintenance supervisors, and technicians to ensure safe, reliable refinery operation and to drive asset reliability initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing with expertise in maintenance, CMMS/ERP, RCM, FMEA, and budgeting; experience with SAP Plant Maintenance and process equipment is preferred. A PE or MBA is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Expertise in maintenance and reliability, material management, planning and scheduling, and CMMS/ERP optimization.
• Experience with the RCM process, FMEA/RCFA decision logic, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience with conveyors, kilns, boilers, pumps and industrial equipment common in refineries.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and reliability programs to ensure safe, reliable refinery operations.
• Lead and develop a team of reliability engineers, maintenance supervisors, and technicians.
• Develop and publish equipment maintenance plans, job plans, and rolling forecasts.
• Coordinate with safety, environmental, and quality teams to meet goals.
• Manage budgets and capital projects in collaboration with refinery leadership.
