Job summary

GAF in Texas is seeking a Reliability Engineer II to advance maintenance and reliability programs across the plant. You will lead uptime improvements, manage FRACAS, PM/PdM activities, and coordinate with Operations to reduce downtime and costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 2+ years in industrial manufacturing, and knowledge of CMMS (Maximo), vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication practices. Travel ~20% is expected; we offer competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required).
• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience, preferably in continuous manufacturing.
• 2+ years of plant maintenance experience and reliability improvement.
• Able to certify in Level 1 Thermography, Vibration Analysis 1 and Machinery Lubrication Technician 1 within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability initiatives and maintenance programs to improve OEE.
• Manage FRACAS process and downtime reporting.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, lubrication, and PM optimization.
