Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Irving, TX, seeks a regional Reliability Engineer to lead strategies that improve equipment performance, uptime, and maintenance cost across multiple cement plants.

You will monitor plant health using vibration, thermography, oil analysis and other predictive tools, conduct root cause analyses, and work with maintenance teams to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance and spare parts strategies. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• : Experience in reliability engineering within cement/heavy industrial environments.
• : Proficiency with predictive maintenance technologies and CMMS (preferably SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead regional reliability engineering strategies to improve equipment performance, uptime, and maintenance cost across multiple cement plants.
• Monitor equipment health using condition monitoring technologies (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, and other predictive tools).
• Perform root cause analyses for equipment, process, quality, and production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with plant maintenance teams to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs, outage planning, and asset performance strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support facilities in reliability programs.
• Develop and implement spare parts strategies, ensuring critical parts availability and optimized inventory.
