Job summary

Sonoco is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician to support maximum plant reliability in West Chester, Ohio. You will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam system maintenance, troubleshoot outages, and drive root cause analysis to prevent repeats.

Proactive maintenance and CMMS updates are core to the role. You will collaborate with operations, develop operator skills, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (vocational focus preferred).
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Experience in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Proactively perform preventive/predictive maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance activity in CMMS and assist in asset history.
• Support safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards in all work areas.
