Job summary

Horizon Media Inc. in New York City seeks a Release & Testing Manager to lead the release and UAT of Blu, Horizon’s AI-native enterprise platform. You will drive end-to-end release readiness, testing discipline, and clear release messaging for internal teams and clients.

You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data operations, and marketing, manage risk, and implement scalable communication for incidents while ensuring quality across all data workstreams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product or release management in AI-driven or data-intensive SaaS environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven track record managing enterprise platforms through multiple release cycles.
• Experience releasing or testing AI- or model-driven features with non-deterministic outputs.
• Experience coordinating testing with external development partners or vendors.
• Collaborates with product marketing on release communications and change management.
• Proficient with Monday.com, Jira, Snowflake, AWS, and DBT for PM and data work.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and adaptability across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end release processes for the Blu Platform, including hotfixes and updates.
• Own release readiness, perform go/no-go decisions, and ensure testing criteria are met.
• Document release notes and communicate changes to internal users and clients.
• Coordinate testing across product, QA, development, and business teams.
• Manage internal product testing and client-facing UAT workflows.
• Oversee vendor test cycles with external development partners.
• Maintain a single view of test outcomes, quality metrics, and improvement recommendations.
