Job summary

meQuilibrium is seeking an experienced QA & Release Manager to lead QA strategy across web and mobile apps, with a hands-on approach to automation and AI-assisted testing. You will mentor junior staff, drive AI-enhanced test development, and own release coordination from development to production across platforms.

The role emphasizes testing REST APIs, SQL validation, and CI/CD integration, with frequent collaboration across product and engineering to ensure quality and timely releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software QA experience, including hands-on web/mobile testing in AI-accelerated environments.
• Experience leading QA initiatives, coordinating testing, and mentoring QA team members.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on iOS and Android testing across devices or emulators.
• Experience building or maintaining automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and Appium.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Intermediate SQL skills for backend validation and reporting.
• Experience coordinating software releases, readiness reviews, and deployment verification.

Responsibilities

• Rethink QA methodologies for AI-generated code and scale coverage.
• Develop and maintain QA strategies and release-specific test plans.
• Coordinate web and mobile releases across development, QA, staging, and post-release verification.
• Test iOS and Android apps on real devices, emulators, and cloud farms.
• Lead day-to-day QA activities and mentor junior staff.
