Job summary

Livingston International in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate Release Operations, shift scheduling, and ensure accurate release and rating of shipments in line with service standards.

You will lead Release Pool staff, monitor performance metrics, and drive process improvements while adhering to customs regulations and internal procedures to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience.
• High School/GED or equivalent is required.
• Working towards or completion of CCS designation is a requirement, if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Release Pool staff on a day-to-day basis, assisting with staffing levels and coaching.
• Provides staff performance appraisal statistics to the Production Manager as needed.
• Ensures accurate and timely release and classification of all shipments for the designated shift.
• Maintains excellent relationships with Managers, Service Delivery, clients, and carriers.
• Facilitates the relationships between Release Operations and other internal departments.
